CHOC annual reunion picnic is scheduled for Sunday July 11, 2010 from 11am to 2pm, at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area. Please contact us to RSVP!!!

TIME FRAME

Our shortest adoption took 17 days, and our longest took two years. On average, a CHOC adoption, from submission of dossier to homecoming is completed in 6 to 8 months. From the day you agree to proposal/invitation to the day you first hold your prospective child in your arms is usually 2 to 3 weeks.

TRAVEL

However, Expect two trips in most regions of Russia. The first trip lasts about one week. The purpose is for prospective parents to identify, meet and bond with a child of their choosing. The second trip is to finalize the process in court. The second trip is anywhere from 10-21 days, depending on the region.

All districts provide advance information about available children, but with varying amount of detail.

We assist with all travel arrangements including visas, flights, accommodation, driver, interpreter, process coordination, shopping and touring.
